The Cheesecake Factory Oscar & Evelyn Overton Charitable Foundation is pleased with the return of our Annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the foundation’s programs and the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center.
We so appreciate the items you’ve donated to our auction in the past, but this year, to save time and to reduce our carbon footprint, we are raffling gift card packages, and we need your help. Please support our Gift Card Drive fundraising project by donating gift cards in any amount. National brands like Visa, American Express, Best Buy, Starbucks, etc. are ideal and increments of $25, $50, $100, $250 are best.
As part of the fun, and fundraising, we are also hosting a Mystery Wine Pull. Wine bottles are tagged, labels hidden and placed in racks. Guests exchange tickets for the wrapped/mystery bottles of their choice. All bottles are valued at $25 retail or higher. Higher end wines are included too, and a few very special gems make it exciting. Guests usually reveal the label on the spot! To make this fundraiser work, we need bottles of wine. Each bottle most have a minimum retail value of $25 or more. Higher end wines valued at over $100 is our greatest need. That’s what makes it fun. Special recognition at the event is given for any bottle valued at $350 or more. Our foundation is a public charity. Your contribution is tax deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law.
In the previous 17 years, your ongoing support to this tournament has allowed us to do some incredible things for our communities. The foundation has donated more than $3.6 million to the City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center. We provide funding which allows the South Los Angeles Youth & Community Center to remain open each Saturday. Our “Give Back” Team Sponsorship Program sponsors staff member teams who participate in a wide variety of charitable projects and fundraising events in their communities.
